150 new Covid-19 cases, 101 patients recover

The number of new Covid-19 cases registered on Friday was 150, with 101 patients recovering, health authorities said.

This pushed up the number of active cases to a new record of 2,124.

In all, since the first case was registered on 7 March, the number of cases recorded in Malta was 7,796, with 92 deaths, including two announced today.

There have been 5,580 patients who have recovered.

The number of swab tests carried out on Friday were 3,035, for a total of 377,054.
