33-year-old woman grievously injured after car plunges into field in Rabat

A 33-year-old woman from Siġġiewi has been hospitalised with grievous injuries following a traffic accident in the early hours of this morning.

The accident occurred at approximately 5:15am on Triq id-Dwejra in Binġemma, in the limits of Rabat.

According to initial police reports, the woman was driving a Nissan Qashqai when she lost control of the vehicle for reasons that have yet to be established.

The car veered off the road and plunged into a field situated below the road level.
