52-year-old man taken to hospital following Tal-Barrani crash, road has been re-opened

A 52-year-old man from Fgura was taken to Mater Dei Hospital following a car crash that occurred on Triq Tal-Barrani, Santa Luċija, at 2:30pm on Thursday.

His medical condition is still pending, police said.

The man taken to hospital was driving a Toyota ToyoAce truck which was involved in a collision with a Ford Focus. The Focus was driven by a 70-year-old man from Fgura. The 70-year-old man did not require medical attention following the collision, police said.

The road was initially closed due to the traffic accident, though both cars have since been cleared meaning the road has been re-opened for traffic to flow.
