20-year-old hit by car

A 20-year-old man was hit by a car on Monday afternoon, police said in a statement.

Police said that the accident happened in Triq Għajn Dwieli in Paola at around 12pm on Monday.

The 20-year-old, who lives in Cospicua, was hit by a Toyota Vitz being driven by a 22-year-old man who is also from Cospicua.

The victim was taken to Mater Dei Hospital, where he was certified as suffering from grievous injuries.
