Two persons rescued after boat sinks in Sliema

Two persons were rescued on Sunday morning from the sea in Sliema after the boat they were onboard began sinking.

Following a successful rescue operation by the Armed Forces of Malta (AFM), the two people in distress were rescued and taken to Mater Dei Hospital for further medical care.

The police informed this newsroom that the two persons were not injured.

The incident took place on Sunday morning after the AFM received reports of two persons who found themselves in difficulty at sea due to their boat sinking in the Sliema area.
