Bormla man arrested over string of vehicle vandalism cases

A 41-year-old man from Bormla has been arrested in connection with a series of vandalism incidents involving damaged vehicles in the locality, following days of investigations and surveillance, the police said.

In a statement, the police said an ongoing investigation into a number of cases of vehicle vandalism in Bormla led officers to identify and arrest the man, who is alleged to be behind the incidents.

Over recent weeks, police received a number of reports from residents who discovered that the windows of their vehicles had been smashed, the police statement said.

Following days of investigations and surveillance, officers arrested the 41-year-old Bormla resident in recent hours.

Police investigations are ongoing, and the man is expected to be arraigned in court in the coming days, the police statement said.
