Man grievously injured in Birżebbuġa two-car collision

A man was grievously injured on Wednesday afternoon following a two-car collision in Birżebbuġa, the police said Thursday.

The accident took place in Ghar Dalam Road at 4.15pm.

It involved a Volkswagen Golf drivn by a 65-year-old woman of Birżebbuġa and a Toyota IST driven by a 74-year-old man who resides in the same locality.

The man was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
