Man injured as two cars collide in Tarxien

A man was injured when the car he was driving was involved in a collision with another vehicle in Tarxien, on Thursday afternoon, the police said Friday.

The accident involved a Toyota Toyoace driven by a 52-year-old man of Fgura and a Ford Focus driven by a 72-year-old man, also of Fgura.

The 52-year-old was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.

The accident took place in Tal-Barrani Road at 2.30pm.
