Man seriously injured in fall

A 24-year-old man from Nepal, who lives in St Paul’s Bay, was injured in an incident that occurred at around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday in a warehouse on Triq it-Tarġa, Naxxar.

From investigations carried out, it appears that the man fell from a height of around two storeys while he was working and suffered some injuries.

A medical team was called to the scene, and the victim was later taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. Later, he was certified as suffering from serious injuries.

Investigations by the Police, as well as those by the Occupational Health and Safety Authority, are still ongoing.
