Two arrested as police find drugs in car

A driver and a passenger were arrested after the police found drugs in the car they were travelling in, the police said.

A man aged 24, from Zebbug, and a woman aged 23, from Mosta, were stopped in Bahar ic-Caghaq as police held spot-checks in the area.

The police found a small bag containing drugs and they also found drugs in the woman’s handbag.

The two were held for questioning.
