Two injured in separate traffic accidents in St Julian’s and Attard
A man and a woman were taken to Mater Dei Hospital after being injured in two separate traffic accidents that occurred last night and early this morning.
The first accident happened at around 10.15pm in Triq Birkirkara, St Julian’s. Initial investigations revealed that a 45-year-old Croatian national, who resides in St Julian’s, lost control of the TVS Jupiter 125 motorcycle he was riding and fell to the ground.
The second incident occurred at approximately 5am in Triq l-Imdina, Attard. Preliminary investigations indicate that a 35-year-old woman from Rabat sustained injuries after losing control of the Ford Fiesta she was driving, causing the vehicle to overturn.
Medical teams assisted at the scene of both accidents, and the injured individuals were transported to hospital by ambulance for further treatment. They were later certified as suffering from grievous injuries.
Police investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
