Individual rescued by Civil Protection teams after St Peter\u2019s Pool fall<\/p>\n
Rescue teams from Fire Stations 5 and 10 of the Civil Protection Department successfully completed an emergency operation at St Peter’s Pool in Delimara yesterday afternoon following a fall that left an individual in need of medical assistance, the CPD said on its Facebook page. <\/p>\n
The operation, which took place in an area noted for its challenging terrain and restricted access, required precision from the responding units. Upon arriving at the scene, rescuers carefully immobilised the casualty to ensure their safety before transferring them to the CPD RHIB Delta 2.<\/p>\n
The vessel provided a swift means of egress from the difficult coastline to a secure location, where the individual was handed over for further medical care and subsequent transport to Mater Dei Hospital. <\/p>\n
