Motorcyclist seriously injured in early morning traffic accident in Gozo

A biker was injured in a traffic accident in Triq ir-Rabat, Nadur, on Friday morning.

Preliminary investigations showed that a collision occurred between a Honda Fit driven by a 29-year-old man residing in Xagħra and a Royal Enfield motorcycle ridden by a 58-year-old man residing in Nadur.

A medical team and an ambulance were called to the scene, and the motorcycle rider was taken to Gozo General Hospital for treatment, where he was later certified as having suffered grievous injuries.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
